Carrigaline Furniture & Carpet Centre

The Ask

Carrigaline Furniture & Carpet Centre are a popular and fashionable retail in the homeware market. Primarily known for their high-quality carpet and flooring options, they mainly service the Munster area, especially Cork – but their reputation extends further afield too. Their problem was that they had an old and legacy website which while able to showcase their products had no e-commerce facility. And that of course limited the way they could do business online. So, they asked us to look at the site to see how we transform it into the kind of modern shopfront style eCommerce site that works so well for similar retail brands.

  • New eCommerce website selling over 2,000 products online
  • Integrate email marketing sales funnel
  • Hosting & Maintenance
  • Connected with Nova360 marketing dashboard

Straight away we saw the potential for this particular brand because we did a full research of their particular keywords and found that there was an extraordinary volume of search online. However, we also realised that as they were far down search rankings, we also needed to provide them with an SEO campaign too – once the site was up and running.

The Fix

So, we took this two-pronged approach at the start of fix – whereby we created a new site for the brand which best showcased their products and then introduced an SEO and marketing strategy to get onto page one of the search rankings.

The style of the new site was highly visual, and we built an ecommerce system for them which was easy and clear for the customers to use. One of the clever new features was a calculator that would allow the customers to put in their room measurements in order to find out what it would cost for a laminate or carpet etc.

Then, in terms of the brand offering – we also wanted to be ambitious. For us, the brand had the potential to be a national brand, not just one servicing Munster. So, we also created an email marketing campaign to get more leads and grow their customer base.

While in terms of SEO we plugged them into our Nova 360 marketing dashboard. And that gave us a visual as to how they were performing online – via tools for example like Google Analytics, Google My Business, and all of their social media platforms. And from this we could develop a strategy to help them rise up the rankings.

The Results

The combination of all these things has brought immediate results to the Carrigaline Carpet and Furniture brand.

Immediate leads were made through the email campaign with over 180 customers signing up. Orders continue to come in from places like Clare, Limerick Dublin and beyond. While the calculator has proved an important tool to help close sales.

It’s also lead to the brand and ourselves creating a wider digital marketing strategy – based on what the Nova 360 platform is telling us. More phases are planned through emails and Facebook ads while we are also planning on fully leveraging the latest Google My Business features and capabilities.

satisfied website user

Brand Nova understood what our challenges were and delivered a tailored digital marketing strategy to deliver results and increase performance. This has reflected in our sales turnover. Great understanding on the end goal. We will continue to work very closely with Brand Nova as our Marketing partner in the future.
